Testimony: Jesus, the Lamb and Divine Mercy

One night when I was in pain and especially down, I fell asleep while praying for God’s Divine Mercy. In my dream I saw myself broken hearted and lying on the ground. My body appeared beaten and I remember feeling tortured and very alone.

Then I saw Jesus tenderly reach down and pick me up. As soon as he gathered me into His arms, I was transformed into a lamb. His strong arms
Held me close to Him and I immediately felt His love and Divine Mercy in a way I had never felt it before and that image and feeling is one I hope I never will forget!

Several months latter I came across a small wall candle holder at Our Lady of the Angeles Cathedral gift shop. The sculpted image depicted Jesus with a tear on His cheek, tenderly holding an obviously very tired and weary lamb, securely in His arms, with the lamb’s head resting contently across His heart.

This plaque seemingly was created especially for me and I had to buy it. Now it hangs in my home for everyone to see and to remind me to share this story and the power of God’s Divine Mercy with others who so desperately need it.

May His Love and Mercy be always with us,

Pattie Afif

FYI:
Beginning next month, in praise and thanksgiving for the Mercy He has shown me, I would like to start praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on a monthly basis at local hospitals, hospices, convalescent and private homes for those who are suffering and want our prayers. Anyone interested in joining me is welcome to contact me directly.

God Bless,

Patti

Note: There are members of the Divine Mercy Ministry who have already visited and prayed for a dying person and have signed up to do this on an ongoing basis. Please join us and share the peace and joy of praying the Chaplet for the sick and the dying – what an awesome experience!
